Dear Member,

Coffee Hour after Platform is a wonderful time to share reactions to our speaker and other matters pertaining to our Ethical Society. Your contribution to the congeniality of the occasion is always very much appreciated.

You will be preparing refreshments for approximately 30-40 attendees.

1. Coffee is in freezer in kitchen. Directions for preparation are on the wall near stove. Prepare 20 cups. Sugar is in pantry.

2. Bring one half gallon milk , 5 gallon juice, and whatever food you would like to share: bagels, fruit, cookies, erudite's, cheese and crackers - healthful food, please.

3. Use paper goods in pantry in kitchen.

4. After Coffee Hour, please clean up and put unused supplies away. Take home unused food.

5. If this is your first time preparing snacks, ask a member to assist you.

Hour on your appointed day, PLEASE TRADE WITH ANOTHER MEMBER.

Fall 2006 Dear Member,

The greatest feeling when you come into a room for the first time is to be greeted by a person who makes you feel welcome. As a member of our Ethical Society you can make a difference in how a newcomer is received on Sunday mornings.

You will be greeting with a fellow member. Please consider these suggestions as guides:

1. Please plan to arrive no later than 10:30.

2. After introducing yourself, engage in friendly conversation. Bring newcomer to guest book and ask newcomer to print information asked for. Write name tag and give to guest.

3. Introduce guest to another member so you can resume your greeting of other newcomers.

4. When possible, offer to introduce newcomers to our Leader.

Greeting on Sunday mornings is a great opportunity to serve our Ethical community. You may be the first contact a visitor has with Ethical Culture. Make the most of this opportunity.
